On November 1, the 22nd China International Fishery Expo kicked off in Qingdao International Expo Center. Yu Kangzhen, the vice minister of agriculture, attended the "Sino-foreign fishery dialogue meeting" before the exhibition and made a speech, then conducted a survey.

In his speech, Yu Kangzhen fully affirmed the important role of China International Fishery Expo in promoting world fishery trade, exchanges and cooperation, and shared with everyone the main experiences and practices of China's fishery development. He pointed out that in recent years, China's fishery industry has adhered to the concepts of green, safety, standardization, integration and open development, vigorously promoting the transformation of mode and structure, and vigorously promoting the structural reform on the supply side, great efforts have been made to improve the quality and efficiency of development and obvious progress and results have been achieved. He stressed that China's fishery industry will continue to adhere to the green development path of giving priority to ecology and the development path of opening up to the outside world and win-win cooperation, it is hoped that China International Fishery Expo will make new contributions to promoting the construction of an open world economy.

Fisheries ministers of Tanzania, Jamaica, Sierra Leone and other countries, ambassadors of Ireland, Iceland, Norway, Ecuador and other countries to China, United States, Britain, Spain, Canada, Chile, Peru, Vietnam, more than 120 foreign guests from South Korea and other countries, officials of embassies in China and representatives of the National Exhibition group attended the Sino-foreign fishery dialogue meeting and had extensive exchanges on the development of Sino-foreign fishery cooperation.

It is reported that more than 1,500 enterprises from 45 countries and regions such as Asia, Europe, America, Africa and Oceania will participate in this fishing fair, including 19 Chinese and regional exhibition groups, the exhibition area is 80,000 square meters; Nearly 600 overseas enterprises participate in the exhibition, and the exhibition area accounts for 40% of the total area. It is expected that more than 30000 trade audiences from more than 100 countries and regions will attend the meeting. The exhibition covers water and sea fishing products, breeding varieties, aquatic products processing and breeding equipment, etc. On-site aquatic product processing display and tasting activities have become the highlight of all previous "Fishing Fair". Chinese and foreign exhibitors have carefully prepared to let visitors taste delicious seafood and learn about high-quality products.
